ProtectStar™ R&D analyses secure solutions in the sector of sensitive data links and mobile communication and develops these further.

In this area, it is important to provide secure links over insecure networks. In doing this, it is not only a matter of encrypting the individual links in the most secure manner, but also of ensuring the correct authentication.

Authentication between the respective end points can hereby be guaranteed through the use of passwords, public keys, digital certificates and through biometric access controls.

Various security techniques fromProtectStar™ R&D have already been integrated into the "ProtectStar Communication Suite." A beta version is available to the public.

These techniques allow, for example, the secure sending of chat messages and files directly from one client to another.
